According to the Staying@Work™ Survey Report 2013/2014 from Towers Watson, as companies strive to maximize employee participation in health and productivity programs, they will increasingly use financial incentives and penalties to encourage employees to take positive action:

Reward/Penalty for Tobacco Use: 54% in 2014 growing to 71% in 2015/2016

Reward for Biometric Outcomes: 26% in 2014 growing to 68% in 2015/2016
