According to the Workplace Wellness Trends survey from the International Foundation of Employee Benefit Plans released in February 2015, which surveyed 479 individuals from the U.S. and Canada, including benefits and human resources professionals, financial managers, and other professionals, when asked what areas they were increasing emphasis on in their wellness related offerings, incentives ranked only behind communciations:

  • Wellness Communication – 58%
  • Wellness Incentives – 45%
  • Health Literacy Education – 44%
  • Physical Health Offerings – 35%
  • Wellness Related Technology or Gamification – 31%
  • Financial Education – 29%
  • Mental Health/Stress Related Offerings – 29%
  • Offerings to Enhance Professional Growth/Purpose – 24%
  • Community Engagement Opportunities  – 23%
  • Workplace Design Changes – 22%
  • Work/life Balance Changes – 22%
